How close is the beach?
½ minute walk (60 mtrs) to famous Four Mile Beach and patrolled stinger enclosure during the months Nov-May. Stroll along the stunning palm fringed white sands looking out over the sparkling waters of the Coral Sea.
How close to shops and Restaurants?
Reflections is located in Macrossan Street and we are within walking distance to dozens of fine Restaurants, Alfresco Cafes, exclusive shopping and the colourful Sunday Markets in Anzac Park.
There is a local Coles Supermarket within walking distance in Macrossan Street.
Is there a lot of street traffic noise?
No, we are located at the quieter beach end of Macrossan Street, away from the main thoroughfare into the village.
How many Apartments in your complex?
We have 8 Apartments, 2 x 3 Bedroom and 6 x 2 Bedroom, so small enough for Hosts, Carmel & John to look after your every need personally.
What view do I have?
First Floor 3 Bedroom Apartment has ocean views from Balcony & Lounge area.
Second Floor 3 Bedroom Apartment has views of surrounding mountain ranges and only part view of ocean from Balcony.
Ground Floor 2 Bedroom Apartments enjoy private use of their own garden settings.
Remainder of 2 Bedroom Apartments on First & Second Floors enjoy a rainforest & Palm Tree vista.
What are your room configurations?
We have fully self-contained 2 & 3 Bedroom Apartments all with ensuite & Bathroom. Full equipped kitchen and own laundry and large lounge area.
3 Bedroom Apartments have large balconies and 2 Bedroom Apartments, balcony with sliding shutters.
Bedding can be configured to your requirements.
What is your star rating?
Reflections has a 4.5 star rating as assessed by AAA Tourism board.
How many floors?
Ground, First & Second, with all apartments on one level. ( No internal stairs)
Size of Pool?
15 mtr Lap Pool and large undercover wading area for children. Pool is HEATED.
Do you have Car Parking?
Car parking is under cover under building and is free.
Hire of Beach Towels etc?
Beach Towels are hired out at $5 each for the length of your stay.
Beach Chairs at $3 each per day.
Cot/ Highchair/ Pram hire also available.
Beach Toys for children provided free.
Are Apartments Serviced?
Apartments are serviced weekly or mid stay if staying 8-13 days. Arrangements can be made for more frequent servicing. Additional cost applies.
Do you have Cable TV?
Austar is available in all apartments, Plasma screens as well as DVD players.
Internet Access?
Wireless broadband is available and all apartments have direct dial phone access.
How do I get from Cairns to Reflections?
We can arrange Coach Transfers, Limousine & private charters. Can provide quotes on all and would just need your flight details to organise.
Public Transport?
Sun Palm Transport run a local shuttle service around Port Douglas area with busses departing every 15 minutes from the Marina.
Do you have a Tour Desk?
We run a Tour Desk on site and Carmel, having been born in the area, can offer you some great advice on all tours to suit your needs. Most tours pick up at our door.
Is there any good fishing?
Fishing charters can be arranged for reef & estuary fishing, or you could fish off the wharf or the rocks. You could hire your own boat and go crabbing and fishing up the Dickson Inlet. We will even fillet your catch for you.
Do you handle group bookings?
We have accommodated numerous wedding parties, family reunions & special occasion gatherings and do offer a discount on group bookings.
